100 days of character posters
My passion project for the summer of 2019 was to make 100 graphic sets in 100 days. The format I chose was character posters — a curated set of images edited and formatted to make one cohesive character aesthetic. It was an ambitious venture, challenging my creative ability and my understanding of characters.
The process started on pinterest, where I put together what was essentially a moodboard for the character in question. All my character boards are here, for reference. Then from there it was about formatting, coloring, and adjusting. The typeface I used was Geomanist, and all coloring and edits are my own, but I don’t claim any rights to the images or the characters. Here are some before-and-after shots, plus a few of my favorite sets. To see them all, click here.
